Privacy and cookies
This is a personal website. It collects as little as possible, and nothing for advertising.
Analytics
If you click Accept, I load Google Analytics (Google LLC) to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies and sends usage data, including your IP address, to Google. If you decline, or do nothing, it is not loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
Stored in your browser
The site remembers your light or dark theme and your music settings (volume, mute, track, play or pause) in your browser's local storage. These stay on your device and are not sent to me or to anyone else.
Fonts, hosting and links
Fonts are served from this site, so no font service is contacted. The site is hosted on GitLab Pages, which sees ordinary server logs such as your IP address when you load a page. Links to other sites, such as Google Scholar or LinkedIn, are governed by those sites.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you type are sent to Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), which forwards them to me by email. I use them only to reply to you. Nothing is sent until you press Send.
Video
The video on the About page is loaded from YouTube only after you press play. Until then no request is made to YouTube.
